THE TRUTH ABOUT THE RACE QUESTIONBy Rev. Robert Bruce Record The Race Crisis "Stirred Up" The race question which looms ever greater, and more ominously and threateningly on the American horizon, is never going to be settled in the light of modern prejudices, theological misconceptions and the ill-will that has been created. Nor will it be settled by falsifying the facts, or misrepresentations of the truth, or by the brain washing propaganda of left-wing organizations whose basic purpose is to create strife and division within our nation. The fact of the matter is, this whole racial fracas that has been stirred up in this country, and that's exactly what has been done, it has been stirred up, gives every evidence of being part of a communist conspiracy, and some of our leaders are wittingly or unwittingly playing right into their hands. It was Abraham Lincoln who said in effect that if this country was ever to be destroyed, it would be destroyed from within. Of course that suggests moral and spiritual decay, and the break down of the social structure of our country. Is not this taking place before our eyes? The Plot Against America Let us keep in mind that America is God's country, and we are His people. Thus it is that the enemies of God and righteousness are using every trick to undermine and destroy the American way of life-which is basically Christian. Ever since this country recognized Communist Russia, there immediately and quietly began a sort of bloodless revolution here in America. A bureaucracy was instituted which began to supplant the regular governmental in our nation, and from within these and behind the scenes, a creeping socialism began to inch its way into the American way of life. Using the depression years and World War II as an excuse for many of the reforms which were instituted, the American people were gradually and unsuspectingly eased into a new way of life until many of our governmental agencies are now dominated by men who think in terms of one-worldism, or socialism, of some other foreign ism, and not the American Way. The first thing we knew, the Supreme Court was declaring in effect that even though a man advocates the forcible overthrow of our country, which of course is treason, there is nothing we can do about it until he commits an overt act, or, until he undertakes to overthrow our government and of course, if he doesn't succeed, then we can do something about it. That's really something, isn't it? According to David Lawrence in the U.S. News and World Report way back in June 28, 1957: "The rights of the individual are now ruled as superseding those of the Government itself and of all other citizens in the Republic who may be imperiled thereby. The rights of the individual, moreover, now are held to be more sacred than the right of the people, through their Government, to be made secure against foreign enemies whose agents operate inside our borders." Forced Integration I have said all this because it follows a pattern leading to another decision by the Supreme Court based on the 14th Amendment which makes the integration of our schools compulsory. Now remember, this all has to do with the race question in America. Yet according to David Lawrence in the U. S. News & World Report back in September 27, 1957, he says, "There is no Fourteenth Amendment because it was never legally ratified by three-fourths of the States of the Union as required by the Constitution itself." Yet out of all this, bitter strife and untold trouble have been stirred up by certain peoples here in America. It started first in the Southern Mississippi, in Alabama, and in Arkans and then across the whole nation. But to what purpose? Most of the issues in the case have been distorted and misrepresented to the point where the facts are lost to view. Blind prejudice, ignorance, and bias, form the basis of most opinions that are publicized by the news media. Oh, they are not thought of as being" biased by those who give them, but that is exactly what they are. The race question, ladies and gentlemen, is a big one, and it will never be settled by force, or on the basis of the whims of this pressure group or that. Of this we may be sure, the Communists and one-worlders who would destroy our American sovereignty and nationalism, will do everything in their power to further agitate the race question in America, and it is only as true Americans with the fear of God in their hearts turn to God and His Word for a just and proper solution, will we ever begin to resolve the race question. Never before in our history has it been so important for our people to realize who they are, and what is their purpose in the Divine plan. Yes, we need to know who we are-besides being Norwegians, Swedes, Danes, English, Holland-Dutch, and so on. Have you ever thought about that? America, the Land of the White Man just as there are certain lands which house the red man, the black man, the brown man and the yellow man, so there is a land, which, in addition to those of Britain and Western Europe, is primarily the land of the white man, and that land, is America! History amply demonstrates that the people who founded this country, who colonized it, and who have 1)(,(,n by far the major contributing factor in its development, have been the white people from England, and from the continent of Europe. Then why should we allow ourselves to be intimidated by minority groups who do not like the way we do things here? Do not the white people have equal rights to do what they think best in their own land, like the colored peoples do in theirs? Show me another people and nation that has done more to help the underprivileged, which has gone to the help of all peoples and nations, than has the white man? You won't find them anywhere. And yet we are allowing ourselves to be browbeaten and intimidated by certain propagandists and internationalists as though we were just a bunch of heels here in this country who made it a business to discriminate against other races. If a foreigner comes to our shores by our good grace and permission, and we don't like his way of doing things, have the American people no rights? Do we not stipulate that he shall give up his former allegiance and ways and become conformed to ours? We should, but we are not doing this anymore. It seems that the American people no longer have any rights. It's the alien minority that has all the rights, and it is time, therefore, that we were doing a little honest, sober thinking instead of allowing ourselves to be brainwashed by do-gooders and left-wing propagandists. The Races, and Mongrelization There are many today who would have us believe that there are no fundamental differences between the races except in external appearance, just the color of the skin-that if we would just ignore these apparent differences and treat all races exactly alike, the race question would then disappear. What idiotic nonsense! By a program of mongrelization these one-worlders would have to believe we could in time produce a world-race in which all men have the same characteristics, more or less. This may sound good to unthinking, unspiritual minds, and to the ungodly, but it is a delusion of the devil that might well lead to the utter destruction of the human race if allowed to go unchecked. If God had wanted one race of men, He would have created us that way in the first place. But since He has made us white, black, red, yellow, and brown-five basic fundamental races-and since there was a Divine purpose in this which could only be realized by the races remaining separate and distinct, then it is only the ignorance and depravity of human minds that would seek to obliterate the intention of the Creator. This is being demonstrated more and more in the materialism and the secularism of our day. Are All Races of One Blood? One of the reasons, or should we say, excuses, proffered by some for the mongrelization of the races (and many Christian people have been taken in by it), is, that the human race is all of one blood anyway, so what's the difference? Ever heard that? Well that, my friend, is the false statement of the hour, and it cannot be proven biologically or from the Scriptures. The biological law of life is that everything produces AFTER ITS KIND. The Scriptures declare this, and history demonstrates it. No matter how many generations a race of colored people-be they yellow, black, red, or brown, or whatever the color may be-no matter bow many generations they cohabit. I say they could never produce a white man. And no matter how many generations the white race may cohabit, they can never produce a colored man. Everything produces after its kind. The life of the flesh is in the blood; and, my friend, living in a cold climate, or living in a hot climate, will not change the "spots" of man. Yet this is what some would be racial authorities say, makes the different races the different climates. But this is completely unscientific; it is completely false, and completely ridiculous. What a man is by nature, he will reproduce: nothing less, and nothing more. Right about now someone may be asking, "What about Paul's statement in Acts 17:26, where he says of God that He 'Made of one blood all nations of men to dwell on the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation?' What are you going to do with that?" Well, my friend, any good marginal reference Bible calls the reader's attention to the fact that the word, "blood," is not in the best manuscripts, and the Revised Version omits it. The Ferrar Fenton translation renders the first part of this verse: "Because He made by ONE every race of men to dwell on the whole face of the earth." Here the pronoun, "one," is capitalized, as it should be, indicating Deity. Of Jesus Christ it is said: "All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made." So we see that is was by "One" every race of men on the face of the earth was created. It is not our purpose here, to discuss the origin of the races. Since the Bible is largely silent on the subject, it is largely a matter of speculation and conjecture-save for the white man, or the Adamic creation. Since the other races are obviously the creation of God, and not the product of evolution, we'll just leave it there. The Fallacy of Race-Mixing Just what is so bad about the differences of race that we should try to unify them or do away with them by intermarriage? Is there not variety in nature; and is not variety the spice of life? Surely the fact of different races is not in itself a cause for a divided world. Now is it? No, nor is the mongrelization of the world its solution. I believe that God Almighty knew what He was doing when He made & races in the first place and no race of men need ever raise their head to God and ask, "Why hast thou made me thus?" Not unless they become ashamed of themselves and try to commit racial suicide by intermarriage with other races and thus lose their identity. God makes it very clear that His people, the Israel people, or modern Anglo-Saxondom, if you please, were not to intermarry with other races. Abraham got a wife for Isaac among his own people. If you will turn to the first chapters of Genesis, you will find this to be true. Abraham got a wife for Isaac among his own people~ and Isaac in turn charged Jacob to go to the house of his mother's father to take a wife. When Israel was about to enter the Promised Land, they were told, among other things, with respect to the inhabitants of the land, "Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter shalt thou not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son." Dent. 7:3. This command is repeated on various occasions. Israel was to be a people separated unto God and they were not to mix with the heathen in any way. The covenant promises of God were made to Abraham and his seed. These promises, my friend. could only be realized as God's people kept themselves separate from the other nations. The tragedy is, that so many in Christendom have lost sight completely of the proper Biblical identity of this people who were destined of God to become a great and mighty nation in these last days, and to be CHIEF among the nations preparatory to the Kingdom Age. The Testimony of Scientific Investigation Scientific investigation has proven that there are very good reasons for refraining from interracial marriages. The infertility of hybrids, for example, among animals, is well known. In a test made among birds, 500 eggs were produced from various crosses between three species of Gallus and their hybrids. In the majority of the fertilized eggs the embryos had either been partially developed and then perished, or they had become nearly mature, but were not able to break through the shells. Four-fifths of those born, died within a few days. The end result was that only 12 chickens from 500 eggs were reared. While human mortality does not follow in the same exact pattern, nevertheless increased infant mortality haunts the mixed marriage. But the evil doesn't stop here. In his book, "Brazil, Its Conditions and Prospects," C. C. Andrews quotes Professor Agassiz Ex-Consul General to Brazil in these words: "Let any one who doubts the evil of the mixture of the races, and is inclined from a mistaken philanthropy to break down all barriers, let him come to Brazil. He cannot deny the deterioration consequent upon an amalgamation of races, more wide-spread here than in any country in the world. It is rapidly effacing the best qualities of the white man, the Negro, and the Indian, leaving a mongrel nondescript type, deficient in physical and mental energy. The most favorable opinion held in regard to the white-Indian half-breeds in Brazil, is very poor. They are a lazy, troublesome class, and inferior to the original stock." The Sin that Brought the Flood We would do well, here, to remember the warning of Jesus that, as it was in the days of Noah, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be. In Noah's day, what were they doing? They were marrying and giving in marriage. We have reason to believe that this was nothing less than an indiscriminate intermarriage of the races, until the human race had become so polluted that it was an act of mercy that God sent a flood destroying them all-save for Noah and his family. Now, while God said that He would never again destroy the earth with a flood, let us not kid ourselves but that the world in these last days is ripening for the judgments of God, and for much the same reason. Is America a Melting Pot of Race? Let us now consider a fallacy that is commonly held and taught by many in this country-which if true-would forever disgrace us in the sight of all nations and in the sight of God. And that fallacy is, that America is a melting pot of race. Have you ever heard that? Yet nothing could be further from the truth. While it is true that nearly every race of mankind is said to be found living in this country, you will more often than not, find them collecting in little communities of their own-their China towns, and what have you, and marrying among their own people. There are exceptions, yes; but they ARE the EXCEPTION. We would seem to have forgotten that the people who founded and built this country were largely of the same racial stock. What many have imagined to be a melting pot of race, was not bing more than a fusion of nationalities. While nationality is often associated with race, it is entirely possible for a race of people to be scattered among many nationalities. Now isn't it? Why certainly. And it is also entirely possible for a race of many nationalities to assemble or gather in one nation which is exactly what happened here in America. Here is a people gathered out of the nations, but primarily out of Europe and the British Isles. The Irish, the Scotch, the Welsh, the English, the Swedes, the Norwegians, the Danes and the Holland Dutch, to mention a few, are not all different races, just different nationalities. And all of them are proven by ethnologists to be a kindred people of one racial stock. They are all white peoples and are recognized by many today as the modem descendants of Ancient Israel-which people are characterized in the Scriptures after their divorcement as "the lost sheep of the house of Israel." National Boundaries Set by God. Now the Bible and science both agree that all mankind originated more or less in the same area-somewhere east of the Mediterranean and from thence spread out all over the world. But this spreading out of the races was not something that just happened. No Christian who recognizes and believes in the sovereignty of God would ever assert, or even suggest, that the history of man has been something that happened and just evolved. No! Turning to Deuteronomy 32:8 for example, we read concerning the nations: "When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance when He separated the sons of Adam, He set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel." Back in the very beginning of the history of man, the boundaries of the nations were determined by God. The races of men were NOT to MIX, but were to live separately behind fixed boundaries. Each of these peoples were allotted an inheritance, and they were to build their own culture, and their own civilization. And it is most significant that the boundaries of the people were determined by the number of the children of Israel. If we ignore the promises of God to His people of great national development and a multiplicity of seed, and if we reduce the Israel of God, as many have done, to a mere religious sect, classed with Protestants and Catholics, then I say to you that this prophecy and this promise here in Deuteronomy has no meaning at all. It is time, therefore, that we were beginning to wake up here in America and to realize our true Biblical identity. It is not by chance that the Caucasian race which settled in Europe, made one more move to this North American Continent. It was their God-appointed destiny. This was God moving His people to the "appointed place" of II Samuel 7:10 where God says, "Moreover I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may, dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as beforetime." It is here that Israel (modern Anglo-Saxondom) would become a great and mighty nation. History demonstrates that civilization has followed in the wake of the westward migration of this people as they fulfilled the predetermined purposes of God in the building of a kingdom of righteousness here on the earth. Here in a land which was once a great wilderness, our founding fathers began to build under the inspiration of God. They recognized His authority. They recognized the wisdom and the authority of His Word. In less than four generations after we bad established our national independence we had grown to be the greatest single nation of all time. And not only are we truly in God's country, we are God's people, and the beginning of the restoration of the Kingdom Of God On the earth. And may God grant that you, in\, friend, may see and believe this. for the enemies of God and righteousness today are doing their best to destroy the white race, and thus the Kingdom of God. They would destroy us because we are basically a Christian people, and, by every Biblical mark of identification the literal descendants of ancient Israel. |
